- Summary
Everyone will go back home eventually, but if you don’t want to go home, I won’t force you. Those who truly want to will get home. Otherwise what would the enlightened Master do? If everyone behaves himself, then there’s no need for the Master. However, you should still do your best to fulfil your duties, so you can have a smoother life here and get a taste of Heaven here on Earth. Also, this way, when you leave this world, you’re at ease in body and mind, and then you’ll go to a higher Heaven and continue to enjoy things there. Isn’t this much better? If you do more meditation, your life will be smoother and more comfortable.
An enlightened person does charity work quietly, and he will do anything that’s a good deed. He doesn’t have any ego; he doesn’t want material gain or fame; and he doesn’t care if anyone knows about it. He does it because it’s his duty. That’s why after one is enlightened, anything he does is good. If one is ignorant, what he does may or may not be good. Therefore, being ignorant is the greatest sin. And being enlightened is the greatest merit; there isn’t any other kind of merit, and there isn’t any other kind of sin! You should all remember this clearly.
