- Summary
“When we meditate intentionally, that time is ours. It’s recorded clearly in Heaven. Whatever spiritual merit we earn is recorded. Even our earned worldly merit and karma are all recorded, so how can there be no one to record our supreme spiritual merit? There is an infinite and invisible power that records it. Buddha will arrange someone to record it. None of our meditation time is wasted, be it one second, two hours or two days. Even if we feel empty with no experience during meditation, or we are not in Samadhi and feel frustrated, sad and miserable, we still have merit. It’s because Buddha takes pity on us. Even though we have no experience and feel miserable, we still continue meditating, so Buddha will give us more blessing, merit and reward.”
