  • Summary

This Real Self means the master, the one who is neither born nor dies, the power that neither rises nor ceases. Our body and actions are all supported by that power. Otherwise, when we die, our body still exists, but why are we not able to move? We still have our eyes there, but how come we cannot see? We still have our nose there, but how come we cannot smell? We still have our ears there, but how come we cannot hear? That’s because, at that time, the master of the body has departed already.

Our Buddha nature, the master, is both within us and in the outer world, it is omnipresent. Because we are not united as one yet; we are not open yet, and we have covered our real Self, so we become alone and thus we have very limited power. Originally, our power was limitless. So after practicing the Quan Yin method, we will become Tathagata, omnipresent, and be able to connect to the great Universe.
